🌟 My Experience at Diversion 2K26 ​
I had the privilege of attending Diversion 2K26 as a Judge and Mentor on February 28 and March 1, 2026. It was an inspiring weekend witnessing firsthand the passion, engineering acumen, and technical grit displayed across dozens of collegiate teams building real-world software and hardware prototypes.
🧠Evaluation Criteria ​
As a judge, I evaluated projects against rigorous industry benchmarks:
- Novelty & Innovation: Uniqueness of the problem-solution framing.
- Project Completion: Functional MVP delivery within hackathon constraints.
- UI/UX Design: User empathy, accessible workflows, and visual polish.
- Technical Architecture: Scalability, API design, and resilience.
- Business Potential & Market Viability: Value proposition and distribution feasibility.
💡 Mentorship & Technical Guidance ​
Beyond judging rounds, I spent time with teams mentoring on:
- Scalable full-stack application architecture
- Database schema modeling and caching strategies
